As the Founder and Managing Partner of Altmaven Capital, Jason leads an alternative asset management and advisory firm that partners with companies on mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising strategies.

Jason brings over a decade of experience in investment management, having held key roles at respected firms including Desautels Capital Management, Galliant Advisors, and Waratah Capital Advisors. At Waratah, he successfully managed multiple long/short equity portfolios across both generalist and sector-specific strategies, with a particular focus on the technology industry. His blend of expertise in both public and private markets offers a unique perspective for clients and investors. Jason earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours in Investment Management from McGill University.

Warren joined Altmaven Capital in 2022 as the Managing Partner, focused on capital raising initiatives along with sourcing, underwriting, and executing M&A transactions.

Warren has over 15 years of public and private markets experience. Prior to joining Altmaven Capital, Warren was the Head of Finance and Corporate Strategy at Optimity where he was involved in fundraising, financial reporting, and corporate strategy. Prior to joining Optimity, he spent over 10 years as a Senior Investment Analyst at Wealhouse Capital, covering the technology, media and telecom, and real estate sectors. Warren holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Financial Management from the University of Wilfrid Laurier.
